Torchwood Title Sequence

As a student project, I was asked to create an opening title sequence for a film or television program. I chose to create one for Torchwood, the adult-oriented 2006–2011 spinoff of BBC’s family show Doctor Who. The show deals with themes of existential horror, sexual identity, and the protagonists relationship to his own humanity. We were asked not to use any footage from the actual show, so I decided to create a video collage with stock footage. I used a wide typeface to reference the feeling of watching an old tape on a widescreen TV.

The song used for this video is "Extra Dimensional Palate Cleanser" by Norma Jean.
